City Occupancy Inspections

Our experienced real estate agents will take over management of your property once it has been thoroughly inspected by our professional maintenance crews. 

 

Tenant Screening

We employ rigorous screening practices. Our qualification screenings for potential tenants are regulated according to Federal Fair Housing laws and include –

Eviction checks

Credit checks

Sex offender and criminal background checks

Verifying income, employment and rental history

Our employees will provide a recommendation to the owner after the qualification process and evaluations are complete. After the final approval from the owner our real estate agents will complete the lease and initiate the final move with the new tenants. 

 

Moving In

Initial occupancies are streamlined in order to make it easier for tenants to adjust to their new homes. Once tenants are ready to move in our staff of trained real estate agents will help them complete their property condition reports and collect the occupancy permits. The tenant will then be handed the keys to their new home and walked through the utility transfer processes. They will also be provided with magnetic business cards that include our contact information and a 24 hour maintenance emergency number.

 

Monthly Rent

The rental payments for each property must be paid on the 1st of every month with a 5 day grace period. Late payments will not be tolerated. REI Liaison’s policies for collections and evictions are designed to ensure that you receive your rental payments in a consistent and timely manner. Payments are processed through electronic transfers while monthly bank statements are sent by email.

 

Online Management

All owners are allowed access to our extensive online database that includes information about properties and tenants. Other features of the database involve allowing owners to access YTD 1099, communication logs, maintenance requests or repairs, payments as well as income and expense statements.

 

Risk Management Services

Nine years of service has refined our record keeping process which minimizes risks for owners. REI Liaison strives to minimize risks and maximize profit for owners. Owners are always kept informed on all aspects of their property especially when it comes to addressing potential complications. 24 Hour Maintenance

All of the tenants are provided magnetic business cards by REI Liaison employees the moment they move in. The cards include our 24 hour emergency maintenance number.
